Today I managed to put the final stitches on block 12 of the
Baltimore Halloween quilt. This is the last of the 10" blocks and just leaves a 20" center medallion left to applique. I've been working on this quilt (off and on) for about 2 1/2 years, so it's definitely a long term project!

There are 67 pieces in this block, but I stitched around 80. And that's only because I decided to change the fabric on several pieces after I'd already stitched them down. My favorite part to this block is definitely the spiders. Each one is about an inch tall...

Since this block marks a big milestone, I thought I'd reshow the first 11 blocks as well.

I hope you enjoyed the show! My plan is still to finish the center medallion and have the quilt top completed by this Halloween, but time will tell if that's a realistic goal.
Until later...

Oh your blocks are adorable! I like Block 3 with it's bats forming such a cool design. I also like the repetition of certain elements - spiders, bats, owls, etc. Whether it's done for this Halloween or next, you'll enjoy it!
